It is with a great pleasure that I welcome you all to the kibcouncil.org. The site, jointly developed by the Kuwait Indonesia Business Council (KIBC) and the Indonesian Embassy, aimed at providing an exclusive online and updated resource on Indonesia’s Trade, Tourism and Investment (TTI).

Being the world’s fourth most populous country and the largest economy in Southeast Asia, Indonesia is on its way to become the world’s sixth largest economy in 2030. As one of main world’s producer and exporter of agricultural products, abundant natural resources and other forest and marine resources, it offers opportunities and diverse selection of products to suit the interests of Kuwait’s business people.

I note that due to the limited available information, fostering the two countries’ business relations and potentials remains a challenge. It is against this backdrop that KIBC and the Embassy agreed to collaborate in introducing the Indonesian TTI to Kuwait market.

In this regard, I warmly welcome the launching of this user-friendly website providing us with all required information. I am confident that this online resource will assist you in identifying suppliers, or in giving you the specific advice, in line with your business model. Further, it will also serve as an online directory for business owners to find information on Indonesia’s (i) international exhibitions and events, (ii) business news, (iii) success stories, (iv) list of companies and product offers, (v) export-import procedures and (vi) business consultation.

Finally, I fervently hope that the kibcouncil.org can be utilized by business people and other stakeholders of the two countries for their future business development. The Embassy and KIBC are more than happy to assist you with the best possible business service and solution.
