Dearest Members of the Kuwaiti Indonesian Business Council,

On the 28th of February 1968, Kuwaiti-Indonesian relations were established. In all 53 years, we have witnessed generally good bilateral relations and a lot of promising improvement for the future. This is exemplified in the continuous mutual visits of leaders and officials from the respective countries. Such meetings and visits only serve to fuel both nations’ cooperation in several sectors by dissecting the plausible opportunities in different industries such as trade, tourism, investment and employment.

With the long standing history of Kuwait and Indonesia, it is with tremendous pleasure that we present to you the Kuwait Indonesia Business Council (KIBC), an organization that aims to further strengthen and boost trade relations between the two countries. In simpler terms, KIBC sets up platforms that pave ways in knowledge sharing and networking for Indonesian businesses to conquer the Kuwaiti market with confidence. Alongside us, we also have our counterpart, the Indonesia Kuwait Business Council (IKBC) that is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. We work hand-in-hand with the aforementioned association in terms of encouraging Indonesian companies to penetrate the local market. The Covid-19 pandemic may have halted and hindered broadening business horizons to a certain extent. However, this does not cease opportunities from arising ultimately.
