Kuwait Oil Company has allocated 865 million dinars (equivalent to 2.8 billion dollars) for 3 huge projects
"Al-Anbaa" learned from responsible oil sources that the Kuwait Oil Company has allocated about 865 million dinars (equivalent to 2.8 billion dollars) for 3 huge projects to be implemented in the foreseeable future.
These sources stated that the first project will involve offering 5 tenders for the construction of oil pipelines. A value of 250 million dinars were allocated for these tenders. The bidding process will be close to the Central Agency for Public Tenders and is a response to the company's strategy to increase production. Sources also revealed the importance of digging deep wells with the aim of producing high-quality gas and oil from the Jurassic layers. The goal is to produce one billion cubic feet of free gas per day. Lastly, the third huge contract that KOC intends to offer involves 3 contracts to clean up contaminated soil from the brutal Iraqi invasion (with an allocated sum of 165 million dinars or 550 million dollars). This will be a continuation of the previous project that was recently awarded to 5 alliances.
